It's so good to be here in Oklahoma for the ICLC conference. It's good to be able to receive, get filled up, and know that God has a purpose in all of it.
I heard a message last night from a brother who echoed a famous Winston Churchill speech that consisted of six words to the students he was asked to address.
Never, never, never, never give up
What God has for each of us individually and corporately is worth standing and fighting for. I find myself echoing the words and heart of the disciples often that after the crowds were offended, Jesus asked (I paraphrase), "You guys leaving too?"
Peter stepped up and said, "Where else would we go, only you have the words of life."
Giving up forfeits (at least a portion of) our relationship and therefore, our blessing. Whatever God has called you to do, whether you think it's big or small, hold on to it with all your might.
Giving up is inconceivable because it means I am no longer following Jesus. Stand strong today and remember who holds ultimate victory.

Never give up! I think that says it all, Jason.
Glad your trip has been blessed...
Thanks for the inspiration - got a lot on my plate but can not get anything done if I don't get to doing! Never, never, never give up implies that you start. So - start I will!
"Giving up is inconceivable because it means I am no longer following Jesus"
Fascinating concept... I'll have to ponder that deeply!
Thanks Jason.
I'm sad you don't have your normal weekly roundup though!
Great reminder.
"Where else would we go, only you have the words of life."
Yeah, following Jesus is hard sometimes, but it's not like we have anywhere else to go...
Never, ever on ourselves, others and especially God! Amen Jason, reminded me to read Luke 18:1.
